Because of the increasing dog population and lack of good qualified trainers, K9 Solutions Center offers a professional dog Trainer/Instructor course. As a Student Trainer/Instructor, you will not only learn how to train all types of dogs, but will also be able to instruct other people how to train their dogs. Our teaching theory is for us to, "Train you to train your dog". As a professional trainer, you will be able to pass this theory on, and build a strong training structure. A career in dog training can be satisfying and rewarding.

K9 Solutions Center's Trainer, Jeff Turner, has many years of experience with service dogs including arson detection dogs, narcotic detection dogs, and dual purpose police service dogs. Jeff has also successfully created new K9 units for Police Departments, and assisted in the implementation of K9 units, as well as providing continuing and maintenance training. K9 Solutions Center sets a standard for training, which raises the quality of our dogs above most others.

K9 Solutions Center's single purpose police canines are trained on one set of odors, which could be narcotics, explosives, cadaver, or tracking. Our single purpose dogs have amazing focus, and will work though the most hostile enviroment. Our quaility control standards prove this fact.

A dog's ability to track a scent is more than just a function but the ability to distinguish scents, and concentration is the real trick. A dog's hearing is also superior to a human's. Dogs can detect high-pitched sounds well above the human hearing range. It is these abilities which make dogs exceptional at search and rescue operations. K9 Solutions Center and the Canine Emergency Response Association host numerous Bloodhound Training Seminars each year. Our seminars will address each team, and focus on pushing each team to the next level. We invite teams off all levels, civilian and Law Enforcement.
