These scratch pants are made from puncture resistant fabric. The entire front of the pants is padded. There is no need to add the weight to scratch pants by padding the back side of scratch pants, which also restricts movement. The entire interior of these scratch pants are lined with a sports fabric called "wicking fabric". This wicking fabric pulls the heat and moisture away from the body. These pants are professionally hand quilted and all seams are reinforced. The side of the legs have long zippers so you can easily slip these over your shoes. On the very bottom of the legs there is an added velcro strap for pulling the legs to a tighter close psition. The back of the pants comes up higher than most pants and the straps set narrow on the top of the back so the straps never slide off the shoulders. The straps are a comfortable 1.5" wide webbing with adjustable slides so there are no floppy stap ends. The interior belt system slips through and fastens to one side with wide secure velcro. The exterior belt has two side release buckles set at front sides so you don't have to stretch your hands behind your back to fasten the belt around you. The color is a earthen green color.
