The Tug measures 3"W X 12"L in size. The handle is bright red heavy thick nylon 1" wide strapping that is looped and is 8" in length. This tug is made of a tight woven jute and is serged and double stitched. These Jute Tugs work great as motivation during obedience training. If you need your dog to be more excited and focus on your face just put the tug in the top of your jacket or shirt with the handle hanging out. The dog will quickly lean that if it does well it will get the Tug for a reward. These tugs also work well when practicing the down/retrieve command. This tug being made of jute works excellent in getting a puppy interesetd in bit work with a jute sleeve. The tug is soft enough that it will encourage a pup to take a full bite. I have not seen a dog yet that does not get excited over a jute tug. This is not a chew toy.
